Vidal Sassoon Academy 2015

After one rewarding month attending the world renown Vidal Sassoon Academy of hair in London it is with great honour to announce I have now successfully completed my formal training ,learning amongst the industries best & most talented; It was such a fantastic opportunity to further develop upon technical knowledge & skills whilst at the same time being inspired to take my creativity to new levels 

During this period I met some really passionate people and made life long friends along the way to whom i have grown and developed. and even despite learning lots in the last 9 years of hairdressing I knew the moment I walked through the academy doors  I was in another league all together. 

What I enjoyed most about my experience there was the constant challenge to think outside the box and creative problem solving which proved very interesting to see how different hairdressers from different countries would operate in the salon environment. The teachers were very knowledgeable and highly experienced, you could tell by the way they handled their tools and by the accuracy of their technique. Every step of the way inspired a new way of thinking whilst at the same time provided me solid foundation in the technical aspect of hairdressing as a creative outlet.

In every sense attending VSA has taught me that to truly excel in the hairdressing industry it takes more than just getting the job done, it requires you to be exceptional to go beyond making people feel good temporarily but rather build long lasting client relationships where people can feel confident in both the stylist and in themselves to try new styles.The best feeling for me as a professional is not the feeling of accomplishment but instead the point where you know why you are doing the things that you do; So I would like to give a big thank you to the all the teaching staff of Vidal Sassoon academy for giving me with the tools and direction to excel my lifelong passion into the future.
